Vriesland, Victor Emanuel van
(b. 1892)
   Dutch writer. Born in Haarlem, he studied French liter-ature in Dijon. He became editor of a number of Dutch literary journals and in 1931 literary editor of the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant. He published poetry, a novel and critical essays.
